This preschool is located on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, next to an old landfill site. In front of the urgent need of a kindergarten, a mother of the neighbourhood bought a land and started to build the place with their own resources.
This kindergarten has around 25 to 30 children, aged from 3 to 5, and there are only three teachers to care for the children. Therefore, volunteer help is always welcome!
The volunteers use their knowledge of English to help the students in group classes. The presence of native speakers evidently is very helpful to the children’s learning of the language.
This Community Soup Kitchen is located in Villa 21, it is part of a Community Centre that tries to help the unprivileged population from this area that also includes various activities such as the kindergarten, etc.
